Enjoy a cup of Joe as the F-15's fly overhead from LAFB and the fishing boats pass by. Windmill Point is located on deepwater access and is 2.3 miles from Grandview Nature Preserve Beach. Grandview Nature Preserve is open to the public free and forms the northeast corner of the city of Hampton. The Preserve covers over 475 acres of salt marsh, tidal creeks, and Chesapeake Bay beachfront. The Preserve is a great location to beach comb, observe the migratory birds, and photography. It is also a great place for fishing. You will need to obtain a saltwater fishing license from Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries.

The home was made for outdoor life, with tons of place to enjoy the water, a relaxing outdoor deck and swing. Take in the birds of nature and the birds of America, our Langley Air Force Base fighter jets (they are loud).

Location is GREAT and we had a fun family weekend 
Sojourn either needs to follow up with oversight regarding their cleaning service, or get a new cleaning service.  Stains all over the walls and doors.  Cleaning people left water in the ice maker and it leaked out when the fridge/freezer temps were turned back after last guest (I'm assuming) and water leaked under the flooring.  When I got there, water was coming up through floor boards around kitchen island when I walked on them because of the leak.  
 The house needs some maintenance.  Water was leaking from one of the ceiling vents during a downpour.  The drain out the back door wasn't draining properly and the water almost came up to the door.   More floor mats needed to wipe feet not only for rainy days, but for sandy soil tracked inside. 
We did remember to bring something to cover bunk room door opening since there is no door to that room." (8/5)
