However, this is not a well managed property in 3 key regards: 1) the front door of the building does not properly latch because the jamb has been smashed in, and the door was ajar 5 different times in our 4 day stay, which is wildly unsafe - I explained this to the operations manager, who mansplained how deadbolts work but didn’t fix the problem. 2) the original unit we were in smelled so strongly of mold/mildew that we were having allergy attacks, and neither of us suffer from allergies; 3) the units have been haphazardly refreshed, with banged-up furniture and knots showing through the wood of every piece of trim because the painter didn’t use primer. These units are on the 3rd floor with no elevator, which could be made clearer in the description." I can tolerate some firmness but this was hard as a rock. When explaining the frustration of trying to get in the building and clogged toilet, they did offer to move me to a different unit and refund me 10% of only the room charge. I got back $12.
