Easy check-in, great location, host communicates well.
This is a cute spot in a wonderful D.C. neighborhood. Decorated nicely. Comfy bed. Quiet building. I think the unit is a bit overpriced. But my only real complaint is that the washer/dryer smelled very strongly of standard, chemical-based laundry detergent. I ran two bleach loads and could not get the smell out. It got into my clothing, and I'm allergic, which caused issues for my subsequent travel. (The detergent issue was additionally surprising because the place came stocked with essential-oil-based bathroom supplies that smelled lovely.) Airbnb needs to start requiring hosts to be more mindful about allergies.
Perfect location! 5 minute walk from DuPont Circle and a bunch of cafes and bookstores. The apartment is in a renovated townhouse, clean, and fully equipped for a short stay. I’d really recommend this to anyone on a long weekend visit to DC - thank you so much!
