However, the unit itself was not comfortable. The unit had an extremely strong mold smell, there was mold on both of the AC unit vents, and there appeared to be water damage and/or mold on one of the windows in the bedroom. Every door to every unit in the building had a 2 inch gap at the bottom which made all noises carry extremely easily. The walls were also extremely thin. It seemed like the floors and rugs were barely cleaned in between stays, and the couch had a large stain across one of the cushions. There was also no dishwasher or laundry detergent. At one point, the host messaged to “remind” us that pest control would be coming in 48 hours, which was never mentioned in the listing or when we booked our stay. They did reschedule when we messaged that we weren’t comfortable with pest control coming in the unit. Overall, this was not an enjoyable stay, except for the location."
